Went from my 9930 to my current Z30. But fact is I need a smaller footprint and my beloved keyboard back. Will be going into Verizon tomorrow to acquire my white Q10. Some questions first; what current version is the Q10 on with Verizon, how is the feedback quality after heavy use of the keyboard, and is battery life good? Will be passing my Z30 to my wife cause we're a blackberry family and that's how we do! Lol

AFAIK the latest official OS on Verizon is the 10.1 MR update, numbering 10.2.0.4xxx.
Regarding the keyboard there are multiple topics about something we'd call the "double typing" issue. Basicly you'll press the keys and sometimes, or a bit more often, the device enters the letter twice. Some people are reporting it appeared a few months prior they got the device. For myself, I got the Q back in May and the problem first appeared sometime in late August/September. Other people, using the device also since it's been available, can't report such issues at all. On my device douple lettering only appears on rather rare conditions, maybe once every 600-700 characters. Some people claim it to be a software issue, others got a new keyboard which instantly fixed the problem.

In terms of battery life,I can't speak for the Z30 since I don't own one. However compared to the Bold 9900 (and Nokia E7), it runs circles around the legacy device. In my use, the 9900 lasted roughly 10-12 hours per day, the Q10 about 14-18 hours. Basicly if I'm leaving home for work and the device is only charged to 70%, I don't really have to worry about it. The Bold 9900 on the other hand would've died sometimes later at work.

I have both the Q and the Z30. Battery wise the Q on 1925 is 30% better than the Z30 on the same OS. Q is a beast really.
