It would be ok but unfortunately shipping cost for Portugal is about $60 so it is out of question. I will look on third parties here in Portugal. Thanks

Thanks for the reply! Indeed I do use a bit on Whatsapp and on Line and other social. A few emaiil accounts also help drainning the juice out of it! I'll try a third party battery to replace my lemmon!

DEFINITELY worth it. The Q10 is the perfect size and form factor, and the build quality is superb. I bought one about 2 weeks ago from the seller below, and honestly, I like it better than the Classic. With the latest software, text selection is very easy and efficient, even without the trackpad. It was a little more than I wanted to spend, but it was worth paying more for a brand new (not refurbished) Q10. I am confident this phone will last as long as I want to use it, especially since I can easily replace the battery.

I know you are probably kidding, but I am seriously considering buying another one from the same seller. Just knowing that I have a brand new one as a backup would give me a lot of peace of mind.

I just bought a used Q10 on CL for 60 US, 3 new batteries for 5 US a piece. It's definitely worth it in 2016, in my opinion, depending on your app needs of course. Better than the Classic/Passport for my needs/wants.

The White Q10 is beautiful. Every time a cashier scans it for a rewards card, they comment on it. Battery has been lasting 2 days between charges which is impressive.

Wow how are you guys getting two days between battery charges. Most the time I can get a day which is pretty good in my books, but you must not be a heavy user? I wouldn't say I am but I do do lots of stuff but nothing that shouldn't get me two days of battery life so what's the secrete?

I think a big part of it is the strength of your wireless signal. I have a full signal both at home and at work. If the signal from a tower is weak, and your phone is always searching for a better signal, that can have a major impact on your battery life. I also take advantage of the AMOLED screen on the Q10 by using an all black background, dark themes, dark reader mode, etc; I think the AMOLED screen is one of the biggest advantages Q10 has over the Classic.

I've had quite a few people message me requesting side-by-side photos of the White Q10 I just bought next to my classic. As you can see, the difference in screen size is negligible, and in my opinion, the build quality of the Q10 is much better. That, coupled with a user-replaceable battery, makes the Q10 much more future proof than the classic.

For anyone in North America picking up a new or backup Q10 from ebay or elsewhere, make sure you get either model SQN100-1 or model SQN100-5 if you want maximum LTE-band compatibility.

The SQN100-3 model has VERY LIMITED functionality in the United States.

    • SQN100-1 AT&T and T-Mobile
    • SQN100-2 Verizon
    • SQN100-3 Rogers and Vodaphone
    • SQN100-4 Sprint
    • SQN100-5 AT&T and T-Mobile

After a few bad experiences on ebay with people selling "new" Q10 phones that were actually refurbished, I decided to take one more chance with the seller below. I can highly recommend them. I bought two Q10 phones from them, and they were both actually brand new.

The only thing the classic has that q10 doesn't have is that when the phone is locked, u can still click on the icons(msg or missed calls) and see, without have to unlocking the phone. Am I right?

You can do the same thing on the Q10 by touching any of the keys with numbers on them.

*Sorry. I thought you were talking about waking up the phone with one of the buttons on the tool belt. Anyway, the Q10 has interactive lock screen notifications, just like the classic.

The brand new white Q10 that's replaced by Z30 is beautiful, too. Love the build, it's light weight, and swappable battery. But my overall UI experience is diminished by the lack of a toolbelt.

That's weird because when my phone is locked, when I click on the icons, it doesn't do anything, I have to unlock the phone to see the msgs or calls etc. Is there a way to activate the interactive screen notifications? Thx

Smart choice! I already did it, so I know how it feels to have a backup brand new item (for the "just in case" scenario). The second brand new original Q10 came shortly after the first caught my full attention. So, yes...peace of mind ensured! GO FOR IT!

I just bought one and am perfectly happy with it. I have decided to stick with the BB10 platform and remain on it as it fades into feature phone obsolesence.

It is a very ergonomically friendly device. If it works, why change it!
