I'm wondering if I buy a Q10 from either att or Verizon if it'll work on the straight talk network.

you may want to take a look at this chart

I believe straight talk operates on 850/1900 Mhz. All the models will support HSPA+. I am not 100% about their LTE network. If they use the same spectrum for LTE, then the SQN100-1 or SQN100-5 should do it! (ATT version should be compatible)

any unlocked one would work but depending on the model you might get only 3g or lte or hspa or edge

That's what I was thinking, now would all features work? Also if I bought it from att could I bring it back if it didn't work?

Features as in...?? Once unlocked and operational on the network (whichever carrier you choose to go with) the phone would work as good as the plan you have for it! Regarding return policy, in Canada, it's 15 days or no more than 30mins usage (voice).

Well blackberry usually requires a different data plan and what not. So I'm wondering if it'll work.

The problem isn't compatibility. It is APN settings. I can say from experience that the ATT Straight Talk sim will not work on a Verizon Q10.

Thinking about possibly dropping ST and getting tmobile since I mainly would use it for talk/text for my business purposes and I think tmobile is only 50 a month

Probably a wise choice. The bugger up BB's **** has always been the APN settings with ST. Same thing on my 9930, even if I just wanted data access with no BIS, the fact that the sim doesn't have the ST APN programmed into it just brings the operation to its knees.

So I have S.T. and took the AT&T sim card out of my Z10 and put it in my Verizon Q10. I had 4G with my Z10....after two days of trying to get this working right I installed 10.2.1.1259. I finally have 4G voice/data with MMS capability. I've only owned these two phones for about 3 weeks so i'm still learning. so yes...a Verizon Q10 WILL WORK.
