Is that a logo for wifi calling above? Got this tonight as a notification and after that it doesn't go away.
Can someone explain?

Yeah it's a WiFi calling logo and from what I understand it signals the ability to allow you to use a nearby WiFi signal as a 'cellular radio' (useful if you were like in a basement or something w/ poor signal), if your network supports it.

It's an ugly icon in my opinion though and I wish we could make it go away. It looks so tacky.

Hi, are you on T-Mobile? I don't want to switch because they only have a couple of towers where I live so no signal. But I heard that BlackBerry was adding wifi calling ability so if a network supported it anyone can use it. Often I'm someplace with horrible signal strength but I have a 60MB cable connection. So I'd love to get wifi calling! ;-)

Yeah apparently all BlackBerry 10 devices are capable of tmobile wi-fi calling with one of the latest upgrades. You may need to update manually, that's the only issue.

Mine was a t-mobile branded Q10, yes. But I'm not on their network. Since I updated the OS it showd me that.
But I also noticed when restarted the phone the wifi calling went away. So for now I don't get it anymore.

That's too bad! I guess something in it disabled the WiFi calling. Do you have a T-Mobile SIM Card in it?
