i've had my Q10 for just over a year. use the Q10 as my main phone with my iPhone 5s - data only sim.

the classic has just been released here in australia - $504 aud outright!

i am looking at one - my favourite was the bold 9700 (traded this on the Q10) very tempted and at least drop by to a telstra shop .... at first was lost using the Q10 without a trackpad and the swipe up was awkward. i am hopeful that they have one as a demo for a play.

at this stage going to stick to the current setup. the Q10 as my communication device and the iPhone 5s for multimedia.

I will keep my Q10, since the Classic is not much of an update for me.

Tried the Passport, shall pass on that too.

Just wish that the Android compatibility could be higher. Recently I have gotten a Sony RX100 camera, which is able to send photos via Wifi (thru an app) to the Phone. Android, iOS and Windows are supported but sadly not BB10.

Tried the android apk, it doesn't work.

But nothing really beats the Q10's keyboard!

I'm going to keep my Q10 but it will be a backup phone to the Classic.
    Probably this.

I really want the trackpad and tool belt. I hate the fingerprints on the screen!

I would like to play with the classic for a couple of days but the Q10 is the perfect size. I wish BlackBerry release another Q10 with bumped up specs and newer OS.

I did the unthinkable. I bought a classic and still have it - but also bought a new Q10. There's something about it that I just love OVER the Classic. Maybe it's the size. Build quality of the Q10 is SOOOOO nice. Classic feels like it needs some kinks worked out. The keyboard light bleed is not good. Something about the Q's size that is making me think about returning my Classic.
Plus... I'll save some serious CA$H!.

The Classic has the same specs as the Q10 and lacks a removable battery. There's not point in buying the Classic when a new version will come out next fall/winter.

I'm due for an upgrade, but Verizon doesn't carry the Classic...at least not yet. If and when they get it, I'll replace my Q10 with a Classic. I think I'd appreciate the bigger screen size and the track pad for moving the cursor around for text editing. I know some folks are saying that the screen resolution isn't quite as good as the Q10 's, but I think the difference is negligible. I'd rather have the extra half inch of screen. I've had my Q10 since they came out and I like it a lot, but I'm ready for a new phone.

Looks like Verizon isn't doing anything with the Passport, so that's not an option. Hoping they'll add the Classic soon.

Same here! I have tried it and the toolbelt in practical really helps you save time! One more good thing is you dont need to reach your finger to the top of screen much more than Q10. I am still waiting for drop price! Classic will be my friend soon!

My Q10 is my first blackberry. It takes a while to let ourselves stop wondering what it can be and start liking it for what it is. It is a good device. The classic does not offer anything great. I guess blackberry just wanted to satisfy all those who wanted the belt.

User non removable battery is actually a put off. Its really convenient to actually be able to replace the battery ourselves. The size of the device also matters. The Q10 seems small but it's (as many call it) a beast. The battery life for me also has been quite good. Gets me through the day without draining. And to be frank I do use my phone a lot. Not much of gaming though.

I guess I'll hold on to my q10 for few more months. I don't see any other device out thr that I would want to buy.

I had a Q10 in the past and am now coming back to an "new to me" Q10 I just purchased used. I spent about a week weighing pro's and con's with the Classic. I would have loved to get the classic but the toolbelt was not a big enough reason to spend the extra cash. Also the removable battery is nice too. I eagerly await its arrival!!!!! A Q10 with touch keys would be my ideal BB.

I got a q10 because there is nothing definitive from Verizon about the release of the classic. Also 10.3 will be here soon. Very happy with the q10
