I'm still thinking between classic and passport...that is if Globe Philippines will offer either the two.

I am leaning to keeping the Q10 and waiting for an updated version with a slightly larger screen.

While I do not think the select and copy is as good on the Q10 as it should be, and don't get me started about shortcuts, I think is is a great phone that should only get better if BB continues to focus on the elements that could make BB10 a GREAT OS.

As for the PD, based on images shown this morning, I am disappointed.

Just got my Q10 today so I guess I'll be keeping it for a while until a price drop on the Classic. So far so good.

Keeping my Q10. If I ever change phones soon it will be for an iPhone. I never used a BlackBerry before and don't feel the need for a trackball. I think it's nostalgia and people need to get over it. No Windows Phone, Android or iPhone has the trackball, I don't hear them complaining. Blackberry has ~1% market share and the users of trackball are even less than that. It's an exception and I am surprised BlackBerry actually made a phone with that feature.

For the record, the Classic won't have a trackball either.

Here we go, BlackBerry Q10 rebooting itself atleast 1-2 times a day now..... getting real tired of your **** BlackBerry! hopefully the classic won't have these issues, double typing only happens maybe once a week for me

I'm keeping my Q10 for at least another year, I think. It has served me well for 14 months, and I have no desire to constantly keep replacing or adding phones.

That said, I'm waiting impatiently for 10.3.1 :-)

To be honest, not even the Passport feels like a proper upgrade to my Q10. I kinda feel like they're both just entirely different devices.

I kind of envisioned the upgrade to my Q10 as the same phone with a taller screen. Maybe 3.7" or at the most 4".

That's what I was hoping for as well. In fact a Q10 with the Classic's screen size would work for me. It would be a tad tall but I could probably adjust. The track pad and the dedicated call and end button are great but I don't actually miss or need them anymore. The Classic also isn't looking as premium as I wanted it to. It looks too much like a Q5. But I'm reserving judgement until I see the Classic in white lol.

I've used the Q10 quite a bit almost 2 yrs but since the battery started dying I upgraded to Z30. To be frank, I would like a dedicated call/end key as I think it would be faster initiating/ending a call with one hand. Right now I feel there are one too many swipe motions to get the call screen, entering numbers and placing ending a call.

Going to keep it and just keep the bold 9900 as well. Plus the Classic I think they go well as a trio.

The bold 9900 is a great size but still a tad small, but it runs os7.1

The q10 is a great size and the soft glass weave back makes it one sexy phone to both hold and also show off.

The classic has the tool belt for bb10 but will be a tad too big.

All has pros and cons and so I'm going to keep all 3.

This is contingent in the Classic being priced right and to glowing reviews. Otherwise I might hold off on it.

I'm used to the way my Q10 works now and I'm happy with it.
Unless the Classic has some dramatic improvements over the Q10, I can function fine w/o the tool belt and don't see a need to change phones.

Keeping the Q10, but eyeing the Passport to drop in price next year.

I always felt the Classic should be what the Q10 ought to be in the first place.

One disadvantage with the Classic that I can think of would be that because of the trackpad, the word suggestions would be further from the keyboard compared to the Q10, and that could mean that it is harder to use the keyboard suggestions on the classic compared to the Q10.

But I am one of those who will be keeping the Q10 for a while.

It suits all my messaging needs and I do not access excel files and documents often enough on my Q10 to warrant buying a Passport.

Also, I do not have any double typing issue after 6 months with my Q10. The keyboard is as good as the first day.

Good point. I never thought about that. Although I think I would get used to it.

It would be great if the keyboard would also be touch sensitive like the Passport so you just had to swipe up on the keys to select a word.

More interested in the Passport right now myself. By containing the impulse to purchase it until more reviews and whatnot come up and maybe see if I can check out the Classic.

I can't believe you did that to your glassweave back.

The more I think about it the more I believe I'll be moving on. The battery lasts me 3/4 of a day if I'm lucky. My space bar, a's, t's and few other keys still double types. And I really dislike some of the small quirks like accidentally hitting call button often. It might be best to just move on.
