I turned on predictive text and was quite thrilled with how it works. Very much like the playbook and when using it I find I don't end up with my keyboard doing as many funky things.

One thing I was surprised at was it was not turned on as a factory default. Unless for some reason it took my old setup and thought I didn't want it. I like it anyway.

When you let someone use your phone, who doesn't know how you and your wife have these sext chats during the day.
Then yeah get back to me.

They go to type a word and another word is predicted.
Understand now, those with wives or girlfriends would know.

Guess we are talking different things. Predictive text you have to choose the words. Your talking auto correct or something.

As you can see both are ON.
Have you ever heard of Learn New Words?

Ok, if you borrowed my phone for whatever reason, and you went to text someone say your boyfriend or girlfriend, "Honey I'll be home late for dinner". Let's just say the "for" would be offered as a 4 letter curse word, and they'd be really upset with you.

Prime example, taking TMO survey you go to enter # sign and look at what comes up. And this is the cleanest example I can show you.

I use it all the time, I find it really useful, especially when typing my email address, it picks it up by the 2nd letter.

I use it and I love it. The Q10 is my first ever phone with a physical keyboard so I'm really used to predictive text. Was thrilled that this was a feature on this phone.

I will say the z10 has an awesome keyboard and the predictions and auto correct are outstanding. Got really used to using the Z10 keyboard, but the Q10 keyboard just can't be beat for typing.

Has anyone noticed that it also "learns" your password when you type it in for certain sites?

I wish we had the ability to view these learned words and delete the ones that are risky haha.

I don't like predictive text because I don't speak just French or just English but a mix of both (aka Chiac, Chiac - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia) it's a pain for us to type with a predictive text feature, even auto correct can be a nighmare.

I tried T9 back in the day before I had a BlackBerry and hated it... Never thought about using it on my keyboard BlackBerry's... tried it out on my iPhone 4 and it sucks d*ck.. Got the Z and couldn't believe that I'd be able to type blindly on a touchscreen...

One of the very best features of BlackBerry 10... if the quality hadn't been that good, I would've had traded it for the Q.. yes it's a dealbreaker for me and it didn't break the deal..!

    From the Z...

Are you on BlackBerry 10..? Because my keyboard AC does Dutch, English, my own slang (no particular language, the keyboard just remembers the way I write) and Latin Arabic (Arabic written with Latin letters)... It's crazy...
