Typically Ebay is a good starting point

blackberry q10 in Cell Phones & Smartphones | eBay

but used Q10s run from $110 to $130 CND. Don't buy new.
Or used Blackberry Passports now run $300 to $330 CDN. This is only slightly more expensive than a new Q10 for a huge performance difference. Smartphones are disposable items. Don't buy new unless you have to.

I got my q10 on ebay in April for 100. Used, but pretty close to mint.

    I vote Ebay, too.

I lucked out and snagged a great condition Q10 for $25CAD. It was listed as "for parts/not working", which wasn't fully accurate: the only symptom the seller notice was occasional double typing.

I didn't notice this at all in the short time I used it on 10.3.1.x (what it shipped with). I updated to the latest 10.3.2.x which supposedly mitigates those symptoms. Worst case, I'll replace the keyboard.

One may want to go here:

    Refurbished: BlackBerry Q10 unlocked - Newegg.ca

    $129 for a refurb.

I saw one Canadian seller on ebay that listed 38 pieces as new, last one was sold on the weekend. There are couple of Hong Kong sellers on ebay that list theirs as new. I saw at least one UK seller listing SQN100-3 but not cheap.

I saw a few very clean looking refurbished ones on aliexpress from HK or Chinese sellers - listings state refurbished, they look brand new and number of reviews, depending on the listing also state phones look new. They must replace the exterior parts or something.

I don't see any Q10 smartphones listed on CrackBerry, just the Q10 accessories.

My brother in law had a Classic from one of this Hongkong/Chinese source and had to buy a new one a few months later. The previous one sold new in box but had most of the alu. cages covering the chips on the mainboard removed. It worked alright for a while and then stopped charging when he managed to get it charged, it turned dead.
So I would advise again any of these Chinese/Hongkong seller. Many of them are selling on eBay/Amazon US/Canada as well, stating that shipping is from places in North America. I personally stay clear of sellers whose names look Chinese-like.
This is my personal view only and I don't want to generalize. It's just that I've just seen how well they can make the phones look news, and the fake box and labelling.

A picture of the above mentioned Classic main board:

    I vote Crackberry marketplace.

I found "some" prices to be better than Ebay or Craigslist; and you can be sure that the owner has taken care of the device.

I wish I knew about this place when I got my BlackBerry phones.

Just bought one of these if anyone is looking for a new in the box Q10 that is 100% legit, and not refurbished. Still had all the stickers on it, and LTE even works with T-Mobile here in the states. It wasn't cheap, but it's nice to know that I will have a good phone with a replaceable battery going forward. I really don't think BlackBerry will release any more handsets that run BlackBerry 10.

For anyone in North America picking up a new or backup Q10 from ebay or elsewhere, make sure you get either model SQN100-1 or model SQN100-5 if you want maximum LTE-band compatibility.

The SQN100-3 model has VERY LIMITED functionality in the United States.

    • SQN100-1 AT&T and T-Mobile
    • SQN100-2 Verizon
    • SQN100-3 Rogers and Vodaphone
    • SQN100-4 Sprint
    • SQN100-5 AT&T and T-Mobile

I bought one on kijiji yesterday for $30 CND. I just need to get it unlocked. I am actually pretty shocked that it is still a very capable phone. I plan on bouncing between that and my Priv because sometimes you just don't want to bring your expensive phone out....like camping. I am digging this keyboard better than the priv's keyboard. Can't beat the price!

I have an AT&T SQN-100-1 and I'm familiar with the others except for the 100-5. What's the difference between the -1 and the -5 models if both are supposed to be for AT&T North America? I'm still trying to decide between getting another Q10 or a Classic to use when this one bites the dust. If it wasn't for the built-in battery I'd have already switched to the Classic for the combination of getting a physical "off" button again plus having a track pad for selecting small things on the screen that currently frustrate the heck out of me since my hands are large enough that my palm is bigger than the entire phone! Despite this I've been much happier with my Q10 than any previous device so I don't want to be without a quality BB10 OS device just because Chen hasn't made the right decisions! Virtual kb are even harder to use as they often fail to respond to my touch so I don't want a Z30 despite the better screen and CPU. And I will not join the android crowd, as even with the added security from BlackBerry the OS is deliberately designed to prevent the user from having privacy, especially from Google. I use none of their products or services and have zero desire to start. I already discovered that BlackBerry expects users to use the Google system for everything if you get a Priv. Wife got one in April so she could use an app needed for work. We still haven't activated it! Both of us have always kept our Blackberries up to date with our laptops via USB sync only, using the desktop software to backup and keep calendar & contacts using full version of Microsoft Office (not online version) but after she bought the Priv BlackBerry tech support told me that they have NOT made any kind of product that allows you to sync with your PC! You can only use Google to back up everything, which means that they have everything in your life to rummage through to know all about you to better sell your data to marketers. In the case of any patients in either your contacts or calendar you also commit a HIPAA violation every time they access your device and every app that accesses your device is another violation.
So I will never own a Priv, just Q10's or maybe Classics. Unless the rumors are more than wishful thinking and BlackBerry does release one more BB10 device!

Sorry for the long post, I just wanted to know as much as I can which is the best long term choice of the ones that I have left to consider. The Passport is too big to fit in the way I usually would carry it, otherwise I would consider it. Thanks for the input in advance!

Just my $.02, YMMV ! ;-) sent via my Q10

Hello, there! I'm using BlackBerry q10 and I buyed this mobile from TogoFogo.com India at inr 6099/- nearly $58-$60. Rather than yelling at BlackBerry dev's we should think alternate options to our need.
