    Every now and then I notice a little arrow pointing to the right, just to the right of the battery level indicator. Anyone else see it? What's it mean?

    It's the NFC icon. The possible icons by the battery icon are:

    Bluetooth (looks like a pointed B)
    NFC (looks like an N with arrows at both ends)
    GPS (looks like a map pointer)

    Thanks for your replies. It's not the NFC icon, I know what that looks like. This is just a simple, single, black, equilateral triangular arrow that points to the right, away from the battery level indicator. It is located just to the right of the battery level indicator. I don't have a picture because I still haven't installed a screen capture function yet, but I will do that if the arrow comes back. Right now it's not being displayed. Seems to come and go at random.

    Press + and - volume buttons at the same time to take a screen capture. No need for an app.
