    hi,
    I'm trying to install Viber on my Q10, excluding the 5.7 which has the new runtime that doesn't work on our BBs,
    I tried the 5.6.5.1885, 5.6.0.2415, 5.6.0.2413 and these 3 I'm able to install and they do work, but only for texting,
    the "push to talk" or "voice messages" (however you wanna call it),
    doesn't work...
    can you please tell me what version of Viber you use on your Q10 that has the voice messages that works?

    should, but they don't... as you can read above, I'm able to send and receive texts, but audio messages are not working...
    I got the message "not enough memory space available"
    anyone have the same issue?
    how do I solve it?

    You can find on the CB channel on Youtube 2 Apk files you need. That's version 4.3.0. And working. Many have problems when installing that a newer version is already installed. You may have tried installing and removing other Viber version before. These still are on your phone even when deleted! That's the latest bug still unsolved. To work around that simply install AppMgr III (App2SD) in your Google app store which you also have to install for your Q10 if not already done before. With AppMng you will surprisingly see all deleted apps still on your phone. What I did is MOVE the ap to SDCARD and deleted it there. Also other "deleted" apps can now really get deleted. Hope this helps you and others.

    checked... Viber doesn't have access to the mic and speakers, and I can't change it.... is there any way to activate it????

    Reinstall Viber apk .

    btw i use Vier 5.6.5-1873, reason only with this version i can change message tone, i hate default one .

    ok I've unistalled and reinstalled the app, changed the size and now it works perfectly, the voice messages works without a problem... can't believe the issue was the size...

    I installed earliest version and it was working. Updated and it was not working any more.
    Uninstalled to reinstall earliest working version but q10 says newes version is installed and it terminate installing the working version.

    How uninstall viber totally from q10?

    I think I have read on this forum (or website in general) that there was a bug in BlackBerry os causing android apps not to be removed completely after deleting it from the phone. Maybe is this a pointer for you?

    Looks like another problem, I tried to install recently Viber, 4.4 to the latest available, and various BBOS, even downgraded, and all combinations as I need Viber for my work.

    Either it crashes soon after opening, or most of the time I get the following error when entering my number 'error'. It is NOT related to the country, as I traveled to Thailand as well last week and could not even use a Thai number to install it.

    Still searching for a solution. One colleague has 2 BlackBerry 9900, one installed with Viber 3 years ago, constantly upgraded, another one two months ago that did not accept to get a registration code. Viber support said they 'no longer support BlackBerry 9900', but I feel they changed their servers configuration as I use the Q10 and can no longer register Viber, where it worked and works well with other Q10!

    By the way, the bug in the latest OS10 release does not prevent Viber to work on some q10 phones, it justs screws up everything if you try to uninstall Viber and reinstall. In that case you have big parts of Viber left in the phone.

    Hello,

    Totally deleted the bad version of viber and reinstalled the stable version.
    It's working fine, can see the pickup slide buttons, but still can not pick up the call. It automatically terminate the calling after 3 rings. The same when i call somebody. The partner see my calling but after 3 rings my phone terminate the call.
    Any advice?

    Apparently if you are on a build 2836, you can sideload the two bars for the android support as described in another post. It helps to uninstall apps BUT there are other bugs appearing then, especially with things like Skype. I think the old android library is not fully compatible with the latest 2836/2876 bundle. I don't know about Viber, because I still cannot succeed to pass beyond the 'error' at registration, but in Skype for Android it hangs up too after the call, so must be a library problem.

    Very weird that people that had Skype or Viber previously installed and updated their OS sometimes have problems, sometimes not, on the very same phone model!

    Just proved to be right, downloaded the Android official update from BBW, and unlike with the two sideloaded bars, Vibers works fine now !
