    Did the battery improve from the stock OS? I haven't noticed much difference, but I do not run many apps, don't use gmail, and probably no Android or ported Android Apps. If may be that the newer OS versions fix problems with ill behaved programs or email accounts using up the battery.

    The new OS may also work better with your carriers cellular system and save battery that way as well.

    I noticed the same thing with the 9900. After a certain revision of the OS, my battery performance didn't get any better, just plateaued. The Q10 seems to be the same, the later versions of 10.2 had the best battery life, the early 10.2.1 were terrible and the 10.2.1.1055 seems to be as good as the best 10.2 OS.

    Right now my Z10 battery life with 1055 is pretty awful. Getting through the day needs 2 batteries, or ready access to a charger.

    It's a catch 22, in my opinion. My Q10 is excellent on the latest leak; essentially no issues and the battery life rocks... except when I run Android apps. Which is much more often since it's so damn easy on this leak! If I don't touch Candy Crush, I can forget to charge it overnight and get through most (if not all) of the next day. With nonstop gaming, I can kill it within hours. It really depends on use. But the POTENTIAL is there!
