Just rec'd my new q10 and after some getting used to the combo of tactile and touch navigation- I am extremely impressed with the new OS. The phone feels a little large in my hands but I'm sure I'll get used to it quickly.

After one full day with the phone- I cant believe how much faster I can reach out to my contacts in so many different ways.
After a week- I'll give more details.

What carrier, if any, in Canada will I be able to get 4G/LTE service on? The bands supported are:

Unfortunately I don't think the Verizon Q10 will be able to roam onto LTE in Canada due to different frequencies being utilized. (The SQN100-2 only supports LTE bands 4 & 13, and the major Canadian carriers are using 4 & 7.)

In addition, it doesn't appear that Verizon has inked any International LTE roaming agreements yet. So even if the phone could support the necessary frequencies, I don't think it would be accepted on the network.

I'm not sure whether the phone will roam onto CDMA/EVDO or onto GSM/HSPA+ once you cross the border though. I have a couple trips to Canada coming up later in the summer, so I'll update with real-world experience if nobody else reports back sooner.

Only version 1 and 3(2600mhz lte max rogers) will work.

Just back from a trip to Quebec City, Montreal, and Toronto, and my Verizon Q10 was roaming on 3G CDMA networks in each city. Wasn't able to hop onto the LTE network anywhere.

(Friends with iPhone 5s on both AT&T and Verizon were also unable to access LTE, so it's a no-go until carrier roaming agreements are hammered out.)
