    Verizon OS update on Q10-img_20140722_151227.png

Strange... I got a second notification with a larger file size. I wonder what that was about. It happened before the other update finished installing.

Are you all connected on Wi-Fi? The update shows as unavailable while on 4G

Hmm. Interesting. When I disconnect from Wi-Fi and try to download via the network, it pauses the update and says "not available through network".

Well, an update is an update and I have Wi-Fi at home so I'll just download it via Wi-Fi then.

Thanks for the heads up. I'm going to check for the update. I thought the update was going to be something like 10.2.1.3XXX?

The Software release and the OS version are two different numbers. Usually we refer to the OS and Radio versions.

    The recent Verizon update is:
    OS 10.1.1.3253 + Radio: 10.2.1.3182, Software release 10.2.1.2976

Just select SQN100-2 and it should prefill the numbers.

Correct. Take out your media card when updating and backing up. It makes the process go a little faster. At least that has been my experience

I always remove my sim and SD card before I update. Goes quite a bit faster!

Coming up on 5 hours and still updating. Officially the longest update ever. 10.1 to 10.2 was a fraction of this time. almost there haha

Did mine over wifi, didn't remove SD card or any other card. Took about 20-30 minutes.

Something must've been wrong. Got to 99 and then progress bar and everything disappeared. Canceled update and will try again tomorrow. What a waste.

Everything works as if it never tried to update
