I first updated my Z10 in an effort to get the best out of 10.3 but found myself going back to my Q10 because of the precise typing. The update was over 2.4 GB and I gave it a day or two and a reboot but the double type issue is worse than ever before. I was hoping someone could shed some light on the issue. It effects sms, bbm, internet searches, everything!

I've read that the only fix is replacing the keyboard or purchasing a new Q10 but i'm worried that the next Q10 I get my hands on will have the same issue. Is there a certain version (or color) of the Q10 someone can recommend that doesn't have the issue?

Just buy a new keyboard. Fairly easy to replace I've heard and only costs a couple of bucks.

I had 3 Q10's, between 4-6 months they all started to DT! I got brave with the third one as the first two were replaced under warranty and ordered the screwdriver off ebay for a buck and also ordered a keyboard. Both took about 3 weeks to arrive from the orient. Took me a bit of time and exchanged the keyboard. Bought an extra keyboard just in case. The third one was fine for about 4 months but traded it in for a passport (dont ask got lucky with provider). Now I still have the extra keyboard but just saying that if I can do it, anyone can! I manage to do everything backwards as I am left handed. I once put a swing set together upside down. People always ask me why I dont read the instructions. Guess its just a guy thing!
