I bought a Q10 off eBay and found out later that is has a bad ESN and I can't activate it. I got my money back, but the seller let me keep the Q10 as he thought it was valid.
Now after tinkering with it for months, I would love to have an actual working Q10 of my own, but would have to sell my bad ESN one first.

Any ideas as to how much I should sell it for. ? I really want to get a REAL Q10!

    Thanks CB nation!

Check out eBay for their bad ESN devices to see what the going rates are by device. I do see them being sold all the time.

Checked and the ones I saw were around 230, how would that be possible if you could buy a good one for $20 more?

Surprisingly, most of the buyers of bad devices want them for parts, which brings fairly decent coin.

My suggestion, post it on craigslist and avoid the hassle of shipping and PayPal. I do all my transactions from craigslist just be smart about where you meet up with the buyer. (public places only!) also be sure to include for full disclosure the ESN is bad and the device is not in working condition. Often times, you'll also get more money on craigslist than because the buyers can meet you immediately in your area as opposed to waiting to ship it. I would suggest listing it for 250 and negotiate from there.

Was the device IMEI placed on the international blocked list? It's usually blocked due to theft!

Well like a previous mention, I will try and list it on ebay or craigslist for $240 and see what happens so I can actually use a Q10 that's not dependent on my home wifi connection.

Gooogle "CRTC" and the link will be there to check your Imei! It only allows the checking of two IMEI only tho!

Turns out I listed for $240 and that's what I got overnight it sold. WOW! Didn't think it was worth that much. Now if anyone has one for sale on VZW let me know. Interested in buying a working one with good ESN.
