I use various devices, but am always trying to up swipe just as on my q10 to get 'home'.

Anyone else out there doing the same ? Other platforms should follow suit I think.

I can't even use my friends' iPhones anymore.

I hold it and it's like, "what's this button for!?"

Being an avid PB user whenever I'm engrossed on my laptop it takes me a couple of swipes on its screen to realize it's not going to move.

Happens to me too. I have an iPhone 5s as a secondary phone and I keep on swiping up to exit apps on it. Hehe

I do this all the time. Had to use my daughters iphone today and got very confused when swiping up did nothing. I also do it on my ipad.

But then I try to use a touch screen on my laptop after using my ipad too.

I think that proves how intuitive BlackBerry 10's gestures are, even if some says it's not.

Ditto. Coming from a Playbook to a Nexus 7 tablet, I constantly try to swipe across the screen out of habit only to realize that I have to physically turn on the Nexus (Gasp! I "scold" my friends who want to see my Q10 and push the top button to turn it on. I love the "swipe to turn on" as well as the Preview (swipe halfway up for quick status/clock view. I can't remember what BB calls that.)

There are so many cool features baked into 10.2.1 and I look forward to seeing what the future will hold for the BB10 OS. I still get mocked for using what people attribute to an "archaic" OS and "archaic" design. If only they knew the new BB. The few I've shown were rather impressed and surprised with the changes. Most refuse to acknowledge BB and I'm fine with that.

I'm constantly swiping up on my ex's S3! Everytime she asks me to check something out with her phone (she's still new to smartphones) and I grab it I swipe up to wake it up, exit the app, etc....

Ah yes, there's also that "exiting the app" thing that drives me a little cuckoo on my Nexus 7 and one that I miss from my Playbook. Love having that ability on the Q10. Still catching myself doing that on my Nexus Hopefully with the new OS update, we'll be able to swipe up to close the app like we were able to do on the Playbook.

What update, to android or BB10? The more card style the os the more I love it hehe.

I do like that ability on my PlayBook. But I don't see it happening on BB10. Imagine how many accidental app closures will happen when scrolling thru the active frames.

When I use a BB10 device or my playbook and just try a iphone or a legacy device like for example the 9780 Bold...it happens at times that I randomly swipe up, down, left, right lol....
