Hello,

I recently bought a BB Q10 from eBay. I am using it now with on a Vodafone (India) network and I have Internet access to everything except for BBM and BB Protect. When I try to connect to BBM I get the following message:

"No BlackBerry Data. BBM is unable to connect to the server. Please try again".

And when I try to connect to BB Protect I get the following message:

"Unable to connect to BB Protect service. Please try again later".

I have tried to register the device by going to System Settings - About - Category - Network - Click on the 3 dots in the right bottom corner - Register Blackberry.

But I get no conformation of the respiration message. I also do not have the BB dots on the top of the screen. I have tried contacting my network and they are unable to help me and I have also contacted BB service center who tried reinstalling the OS multiple times, but the problem hasn't gone away.

Can anyone kindly provide me a solution to this?

Use a hotspot connection to setup BBM and Blackberry Protect.

Once you've setup everything over wifi switch back to blackberry service and try it again.

If issue persists, try another cellular network.

.. are you referring to BIS @OP... cos it won't work with BlackBerry OS 10... what was your previous device?? Is that a Legacy one??

No. I just cannot connect to BIS and I am unable to register my device. Although my BB id works just fine. My previous device was an iPhone.
