Hi everyone,

I have a small problem with my Q10. When typing the same key-sequence multiple times and fast (for ex. Alt+M in order to get......), sometimes nothing is inserted in the text field. Sometimes the first dot is printed, and nothing else after it (as if the M is annulating the Alt), sometimes an 'm' is printed, sometimes the previous dot is deleted and so on. I'm pretty sure I'm typing the keys in the right order, the 'Alt' icon is shown in the corner of the screen. Somebody else having this problem?

Odd...did you try to restart the device? It could also be an hardware issue with the keyboard..

Yeah, it's been like this from the very beginning with this device. I'm not sure if it's a HW problem tho, because when 'slowing down', typing is perfect. I also got this behavior only when using the same key-combinations fast one-after-another, probably the rest of my typing is slower than that.

Ah, I think I have experienced this. I am not sure if it's an autocorrect thing. If I do more than one exclamation mark, it doesn't put them in. I am assuming it is "thinking" it is a mistake!

I have found with the full stops that at the bottom of the screen, there are the numerous full stops and I just touch that and it puts them in. However, it doesn't do it with all apps.

Possibly what you are talking about?

Why not hit Alt L-Shift to lock the Alt key?
