    Is there a way to power off the Q10 without it restarting? Every time I swap out the battery I long hold the top button and hit restart then wait until the reboot starts and quickly pull the battery. There's got to be a better way

    You did you get so far without reading what's on the screen?

    "Turning off in 3.. 2.. 1.." and if you release the power button before the countdown is done "Hold the Power button to turn off your device"

    How long to I have to hold it. I held it until after the countdown ended and the device began to shutdown. It still rebooted

    As it is written on screen, 3 seconds.
    Did you let it connect to the charger ?
