Just recently I received a notification on availability for an update to 10.2.1.537. I waited for a few days before I first tried downloading it on my Q10, the filesize was 311MB. The download was pretty slow - to which I had no idea why. But when I finally managed to finish downloading and close to installing it, there was an error at 1% left to completion. Tough f-ing luck, eh?

I tried downloading it again, but this time the file size of the 'new' update had somehow managed to shot up to a whopping 965MB. I didn't care and I proceeded to download, but it didn't manage to finish downloading after a few attempts. I resorted to using BBLink to download and the download wouldn't go to completion as well - an error message indicating there was an internet connection error in which again, there wasn't!

I gave up, thinking I'd probably leave this to the next morning. First thing I did when I woke up, I had my device restored to an earlier date - prior to all those trials on upgrading my OS. And I tried again with BBLink. BOOM! Same problem. So uh anyone can help? This has seriously taken too much of my time. Thanks in advance.

Someone in another thread said that the first update attempt will only include what's necessary for your phone to update to 10.2.1.537. If that fails, then the next attempt will send you the entire OS. That might explain the larger file size on your second attempt.
