I have had the Q10 for about 2 months now, and I absolutely love it. I thought I would, but I really don't miss the tool belt at all. The Q20 might be somewhat quicker, but considering I have never noticed the slightest bit of lag on the Q10, why should I care? The battery life is awesome on this thing too.

I'm in love with my q10. I've had it for 3 months and I can't put my device down. If I could use two of em at once I would get a white one to go along with the black one I have. I used to jump from device to device but always came back to blackberry. Doubt I will get the q20. I love the gestures.

I've had my Q10 for about a month and love it. However, I'd say wait if your current device can bear it.
Just because it would be Chen's first device that he's had input in that isn't a low end device. And I think he might be competent.

    Hi, all

Yesterday, my girlfriend had agreed to buy me a blackberry Q10 for me if I buy her a kindle paperwhite.

But I'm very confuse is it too late to buy Q10 now? Because the Q20 will come out in next half year....

I just bought a Q10 in January, the reason being the initial price, but waited till this year to get it. Has been my go-to phone for the last two weeks.

Price wise get Q10, the Q20 will be around $500 usd plus , So the wait and the price made me get the Q10.

I just don't understand the OP's arrangement. If the g/f buys you a phone, but you have to get her a tablet, why the hell don't you just save each other the trouble and get your own things. I could understand if it's Christmas, but...

First world problems, as they say...

Are people with Q10's really going to buy a Q20/classic? I thought the Q20/classic is targeted at BBOS holdouts and those who think BB10 needs the belt. I'm on BBOS and am considering going to BB10 ... That means the BB10 experience as delivered by a Q10.
Actually having used the Q10 for like 3 days now, I think the trackpad would be a nice edition. BB doesn't seem to have the whole text selection/moving around with a cursor thing down, compared to the iPhone I came from.

Suposedly it will have "the belt": physical call, end call, back and menu buttons, and maybe the trackpad.

I would get it now. Q10 is awesome. Esp if you don't really need the trackpad.

Price wise, the later the better. 3 keyboard devices in a year, you can wait.

I have always bought BlackBerrys when they are not the brand new just released phone. You can save a lot of money by getting a model that has had the price reduced. Save that money for your next BlackBerry.

I was one of the first guys to get a Q10 in Germany! I LOVE this device! Tried a Z10 for a month in the meantime but nothing compares to the typing experience and the battery life on the Q! You just can't beat it! Screen estate is enough for me, if you really want to enjoy videos or games you should grab a tablet or laptop!

I got the Q10 a few weeks ago. Actually used a upgrade for it. If your always waiting for the next thing you'll never get anything. The Q10 is a wonderful device. Best of luck in your decision.

And it will also have a slightly larger screen, so the overall footprint of the device will be a bit bigger.

If the belt buttons follow the legacy BBOS pattern, the End call button will also function as a Home button. In legacy BBOS, if you used the Back button to exit an app, you'd close the app, whereas if you used the End call button you'd be back at the home screen but the app would remain open. But legacy BBOS didn't have active frames, so I don't know if this Back button functionality could be implemented in BB10.

No, it is not too late. Get it. I have a Q10 as my daily driver.

The only issue I have is the size of the screen - but I have a plan. I am in pursuit of a Z30. If the Z30 does not tickle my fancy I'll have my Q10 to fall back on. IF I like the Z30 enough I'll sell my BB phones (1x Torch 9800, 1x Torch 9810 & 1x Q10) to defray the cost of the Z30. Defraying the cost of the Z30 will keep the Wife happy.

It's one year old device. The next device will be Q20, which I think will be Q10 with buttons, nothing more (again, i think!). The next good querty will be Q30 or whatever everyone wants to call it, and that'll probably be a lot better but also quite expensive at the beginning.

I'd say no. Most production bugs will have been ironed out at this point in time and with BlackBerry 10 there isn't a slow device so go for it!

It will be a while before there is a phone significantly better than the Q10... in my opinion it will be like the Q10 but a slider, like the torch was... blackberry might never make this phone, so I wouldn't wait for it.

In my opinion the Q20 won't be "enough" better to justify waiting half a year for it.
