I'm using a Verizon Q10 with the latest official verizon OS. Has anybody found a way to toggle off 4G?

I asked this in another thread about battery drain. It is fairly clear to me that my heating/rapid draining issue is related to two specific spaces in my area that have awful 4G coverage.

The problem is that I can't figure out how to force the phone to 3G coverage instead.

    Anybody have any solutions?

No way to do it, Verizon has it locked to 4g. Would be nice if someone could come up with a work around.

If you can get in the escreen which I have there is the toggle under general radio.

Go to your settings then go to about, then while in the about page type ESCR. You will then be in the "help me screen". Then your going to need to Google "escreen calc" on the Web to find the site to give you the code and directions to enable the engineer screen (escreen).

Just watch what you touch in there. You could screw your phone up good.
