    Intuitively all of the ways either change notification or media volume.

    The old BlackBerry OS would allow me to customize volumes and profiles. There aren't any volume profiles here.

    In OS10.1; Settings > Main Volume > Volume Keys - Set Always Adjust Media Volume Toggle to Off, allows you to control notification volume with the volume rockers, when media isn't playing.

    I think what they mean is in os7 you could control each notification volume individually and from what I've seen you can't in os10. Does anyone know if this will be part of notification customization in future updates? I miss this feature since the ring tone I'm currently using is quite and the volume needs to be higher to heat it but it makes some other sounds too loud.

    Took me many weeks to figure this out. I think it should be the default.
