I have a locked at&t Q10 currently. I may have to be moving to an area where at&t service is pretty much impossible to get. I have seen some comments that seem to allude to the at&t Q10 can be used on CDMA towers. I will need to use it on a prepaid service using CDMA towers. My question is, if this is true, will i have to get the phone unlocked from at&t and get it flashed as well? Or will just getting it unlocked form the GSM carrier be enough to allow me to use it on CDMA towers?
Thank you in advance for the help everyone!

You're not going to be able to use an AT&T GSM Q10 on Verizon's CDMA network. You'll need to buy a new phone.

No, you can't use an AT&T Q10 on Verizon. It does not have CDMA bands in it.

And even if the phone were compatible, which it's not, Verizon has never allowed a non-Verizon device to be activated on their network. Well, people have been able to use the new Nexus 6 on Verizon, but Verizon has already said they are carrying that device, so maybe that's why it works now.
    raino and lift like this.
