I haven't tested the speed but I'm happy with their LTE here. My only fear getting the q from t-mobile was their data speed. But it's been great so far

For some reason I can't pull an upload reading.. it isn't official in the city I was in, so I am wondering if that's the reason.

I was about to get the Q10 the other day but the $150 insurance deductible scared me off. I prefer Best Buy's insurance with no deductible. But they said their only selling the phone outright and I don't have an extra $600 right now. So decisions, decisions! LOL!

From my website you can insure you're Q10 with $99/year or $9.99/month and you will have no deductible . Also you will not have to pay full price for the phone upfront . You will be under a 2 year contract like before but you will pay just $239 for a new contract or $269 for renewal .

I teather my Q10 to my laptop. Then use Speak Easy Speed test (google it & use the closest city).
My speeds vary slighly depending on location. I've been getting around 15.5 on T-mobile.
I'm not sure if the speeds are totally dependant on location, carrier or both.

    You may be right.
I have the 4G symbol when tethered.
Seems like companies can call a network whatever they want.
We supposedly have T mobile 4G here. But not 4G LTE.
What the heck does that mean?

This isn't a major metro area so I'll have to ask about that.
Yea, that speed isn't LTE, it's great HSPA. If you get LTE, it'll say 4GLTE, at least on tmobile

I'm down @ downtown San Francisco on 4th street and I got the 4GLTE signal as you see in the screen below:

    T-Mobile LTE on Q10. 28M down!-img_20131163.png

However not impressed with the speed. I used speedtest.net on my browser and only got 11MB download and 10 MB upload
