I'm sure a lot of you are aware of this plan on prepaid is anyone away if calling via bbm will subtract my minutes because I already discovered that wi-fi will.

bbm calling should not count against the minutes. The reason the wifi calling does is because its still using phone network for the call, its only on wifi for your end of the call

How do you go about getting the 30 dollar plan? I know it has something to do with getting it from Walmart. I have an unlocked q10 and using it on T-Mobile now and would love to switch to that plan since I use mostly data anyway lol.

Sorry for the delay but I had an activation kit at home already that my friend had purchased with a phone not to long ago but it was directly from the T-Mobile store so I used that. I also had a sim card that came with my original Q10 handset and I used that as well the whole walmart thing is true to a certain extend technically but I activated mines via T-Mobile.com. I do believe that it's possible to get your plan switched over though because I've done a bit of research in the T-Mobile forums in order to get a thorough understanding of how to go about activating the "hidden plan" and it's not common to get a rep to work with you but I have read you may have it future dated though. Please keep me updated

I had that specific one. Got it on Walmart from the prepaid isle, came in this "box". Price was 45 bucks IRC (because of the sim card), and they had plenty of them.

45 did that include tax? I was lucky enough to already have a activation kit hanging around with a spare sim so all I have to do is load the 30 dollars on

Yes but they still impose certain restrictions as to how long you have been with them and such (current active line), by going to their site you can probably see those and if you meet the criteria a call to 611 with your IMEI in hand requesting the unlock code will get the process started. Yes, that applies even if the device is yours and fully paid for, at least in the US that is.

I've had several $30 prepaid 100 minute, text, & 5GB of data. 1st a new prepaid sim card has to be used (I ordered mine from Tmo), then as you go through the activation process the prepaid plan choices appear, you have look through page & down at the bottom will be the desired option (it's been 6 months since I've done this, so Tmo could have move the option). Tmo pricing has gotten so good that that I've went with their family plan for 5 devices (unlimited talk & text, with 2 phones having 1GB each of data & 3 phones having unlimited data for under $200).

Hi! I actually got my Q10 from shopblackberry.com so it already came factory unlocked. But from one of the replies above try to ask your carrier to unlock it for you or look up a reliable third party website that can unlock for you (usually have to pay some sort of small fee though if unlocking online)
