Hey guys

Owned z10 since release, been so focused on it that I completely ignored q10. Now I miss my 9900 and will be switching to a10.

What do I need to know? What are the differences between the two?

Here's what I know
- q10 has bigger battery and better screen
- type and go functionality with keyboard
- global search with keyboard
- q10 had better build quality
- q10 doesn't heat up all the time like z10

What else? Any news on release dates in Canada btw?

The Z10 has a better screen and my Z10 doesn't heat up.

I also don't know where you're getting the better build quality from.

The build quality may be referring to the stainless steel band that they hyped up during launch. It did look like it would give the phone a higher level of perceived build quality.

I would say the primary thing you need to know when switching from the Z10, on over to the Q10 is...and I must admit, it makes me blush to admit it myself, the Q10 hasn't been released yet (rimshot) hey, a pun!

Type and go will be in 10.1 so Z10 will have it also btw.

I am in the same situation!
You may also consider that the q10 won't have the legacy touch pad. Even with a touch screen it's something to consider.

I thought about that sala7, and I think os10 will be perfectly fine. One of my issues with z10 is swiping up from bottom of the device esp when holding device with one hand. I held my 9900 imagining it had Os10 on it and it felt really good in hand! Finger not having to go as low has to do with that a lot.
