Are there any great android phones that have touch and type (touchscreen and physical keypad) feature? Please recommend. I will miss my Q10 ESPECIALLY for the keypad but I would love a similar phone for it's replacement.

Yeah, I know Priv. But its reviews on crackberry have been discouraging. So a non-blackberry touch-and-type android phone is what I'm looking for.

I mean the people who post often have an issue or gripe, but the people who are having no problems just go about their day and you don't hear from them. I think a vast majority just go about their day. But when you come to forums you might get the idea that there is a bigger problem than really exists.

I'd agree. My wife has had a Priv since launch, almost a year, and has been rock solid. I had been worried about all of the reports on the forums about creaks and overheating and 2h battery life, but even though she got one of the initial batch of phones, hers has been sturdy and lasted for all day use since the beginning. The screen is pretty stunning and the camera is still very good compared with all but the newest phones released this year.

She is also pretty hard on her phone, dropping it a fair bit, but with only the BB hard case on it there hasn't been a scratch, though I've had to re-seat the plastic case a few times a falls have popped parts of it off.

And now with all of the sales, you should be able to get one at a pretty reasonable price.

Outside of BB, there isn't much else out there for physical keyboards, and besides BB has always been arguably the best in that area anyway.

Thanks a lot guys. This is the type of reviews I like. Charlie U are right; the vast majority go about enjoying their devices quietly. Delboyca thanks.

Whaaaaat? Such a blatant copy of the Q10. I love it! too bad seems to be out of stock all over.
I saw a video of it, it's got this crazy extendable antenna thing like the old style FM radios. Cracks me up!

Maybe this is a phone BB should have made...BB10 or Android.

There is a physical keyboard for the s7 or the s7 edge, I can't remember which. I saw it in YouTube then found it at target of all places. It isn't very good.

If you have to go with a virtual keyboard the BlackBerry keyboard really is the best.

But I'm with you (whoever said it), the BlackBerry PKB has no peer and has a lot of functions beyond just typing that make it more than worthwhile.

I wish all phones had extendable antennas. I have fond memories of carrying my startac with my teeth when my hands were full; oh, and getting a good signal everywhere. Try that with a modern smartphone.

Maybe the Q10 was a blatant copy of this 2012 Android phone reviewed about six months before the Q10 was released.

Hmmm... well I don't know when it, the MP108, was released, but all the Youtube reviews and customer reviews from the shopping sites date from 2014, well after the Q10 release date.

Lol it's running Jelly Bean. No one should seriously consider buying it.

BB's ART is on JB. So if you'd still consider a BB10 phone, why not?

Yes, two separate Android pkb phones. Posted for kicks, not serious recommendations.
