    the blackberry world version and the android version are the same. thats just how it runs.

    I am using the latest version of skype from BlackBerry world. I used the voice call about an hour through mobile data. The voice was clear and no problem whatsoever. The app didn't restart or anything.

    Same here with the BlackBerry World version. Stable enough, bit slow sometimes. And once after I quit it drained my battery in 2 hrs...

    I get no duplicate contacts, and I only get a hub notification when Skype is first launched.
    Neither of your concerns has anything to do with stability, which was the concern if the OP.

    Bit of a side-note, I find Skype to be the perfect example of a terrible (bloated, intrusive, unstable) program, which only succeeds because it provides something we all need.

    It's that way on all platforms, even on the PC (yet, I use it).
