I just checked a minute ago for any updates and it downloaded a 2 MB "App" update. It is still 10.1.0.2011. Does anybody know what updates these contain?

if you deleted any stock/bloatware app from verizon off your device, it just repushed that app

It gave me a Calculator program and a Verizon cloud backup app. I didn't have or delete either of these before the update.

Mine was fresh out of box today and during the setup prompted me for a 2meg update. Not sure what it was.

I just did the 2 MB update. The message that came up after the successful install says I now have version 10.1.0.2038. If I go to the "About" menu, it still has 10.1.0.2011. I will restart and see what happens.

All I said was that there was a software update. Nothing dramatic about the subject line. And my post was clear about what it was and did not intimate that this was a major update

The only difference I noticed was the cloud backup app (I had a calculator before). But it is useless for me since I sync all my contacts with EAS, so I don't need them backed up. But for others, may be a nice additional feature from Verizon. Would be better if it backed up calendar and documents (which it initially said it did in the generic app screen but not once it told you it was a free service from Verizon).
