I loaded the apk from Snap onto my daughter's Q10. The app works well with the exception of typing captions onto the photo. Tapping on the photo doesn't seem to work to bring up the text box. I'm wondering if others have had this issue and if there is a fix before I look at sideloading Snap2Chat.

I have the same issue on my Q10. I just write the text with the drawing tool, which is a pain.

Yeah, I used to have those problems and it was really annoying.
Using the Snapchat apk from Android is not really good.

If you know how to sideload bar files, try installing Snap2Chat. It has a lot more features and is way better. Do a search in the forums and check it out.

There are older versions of snapchat that work, but then video doesn't work right. There may be some version that does video and text.

For all you Q10 owners that can't input text in Snapchat here's a solution.

1. Take a pic
2. Press the sym button
3. Tap on the screen/pic
The text field should show up. (just press the sym key 2 more times to get rid of it).
