Hi:
I have a BB Q10 (SW Rel 10.2.1.2102) and when i open a new appointment on the calendar it takes upto 20 secs to open. It also happens when I am opening the password keeper, after I introduce the password it takes for ever to open).

yes, I have restarted and also done a battery pull, but it still slow to open a calendar new appointment or the password keeper.

I have had this issue too. When I enter a new calendar appt. In say bbm groups then open my calendar right away there is a delay while it re sync's. I have minimized this by setting up my calendar to sync at a larger interval. Like 30 minutes. That way it isn't re syncing all the time.
Give that a shot. Settings, accounts then set up your calendar sync's to happen less often.

I did not have this problem using the 10.2.1 OS. Calendar felt a little slow but still ok. I installed 10.3.0.229 and the calendar is very fast and the UI is so much better. If you are ok with loading unofficial OS's just go for it. Here you have a example of how calendar looks :
