    Hey everyone,

I got the Q10 when it came out, but due to the lack of apps i had to go back to my iPhone. (Swedish apps )

But i really miss the keyboard!! So i would like some advice.

How are the sideloaded apps now? 8 months later..
Instagram on the Q10 is it better now then it was then?
Alot of sideloaded apps worked on the Z10 but not so good on the Q10 because of the screen size. How is it today?

And for all Scandinavien users, are there any bank apps that work?

Would love to get som opinions to help my decision.
And if there are any swedish users please send me a pm so i can talk.

    Best regards
    Mathias

Sideloaded apps are much smoother now. I use iGrann, a free native Instagram client. If you sideload an app called Snap, it essentially gives you access to Google Play Store free apps.

I'd like to mention that MOST apps from the Google Play store work. Some that use Google services, like Google Maps or Google Drive, might not work.

Yeah its great! iGrann is the best instagram app imo..the only bummer with the snap is some apps don't adjust to the q10's screen.. such as flipboard

You are correct. Snap looks similar to an outdated BBW client and you download APK installers, then install the APK. It as simple as downloading from BBW except you have to click the installer open then click install.

All you need to do now is to sideload Snap http://forums.crackberry.com/showthread.php?t=874153

And then you can access Google Play on a BB10 phone. Then log on with your Google account & password and you'll be able to download & install Android apps directly from the phone.

I have a Q10 and using SNAP, everything is a breeze for Android Apps. They'll be a few that won't configure quite right to the smaller screen, but i'm coming from an HTC One and I haven't missed a beat.

It has come a LONG way. It stunk searching for apps in .bar format from multiple websites to sideload, sometimes not being able to find the app. So much easier now; app gap is gone.

don't even thinkg about sideloading apps. most of them suck because the screen is too small. otherwise it's a great device that has matured a lot.

Do keep in mind that the Q's screen still is square and most android apps aren't designed for that. They cope and work but it isn't always the best experience.

If you want ultimate android compatibility go for a Z.

If you want keyboard, battery life and portability...

I'll bet you don't have Chrome working nor ability to sign in and sync bookmarks history passwords either.
