Just noticed this about a week ago. Sometimes when I move the phone quickly it feels like something is moving inside... could it be the battery? has anyone else noticed this?

All newer phones do this. Yes even the Samsungs and iphones. Some sort of gyroscope or something

I must be the unlucky one then I guess... well as long as it looks aesthetically fine and runs smoothly I'm ok.. just wanted some feedback to see if I was alone in this. thanks..

I started to notice some movement/noise coming from mine if I shook it or moved it quickly, I think it was the battery shifting around. Never really caused any issues (like some people who's batteries have actually been known to shift so much that the phone reboots!) It actually started to annoy me quite a bit so I took a business card and stuck it inside the back cover and voila, no more movement.

My Blackberry Q10 does not do this, but my past Nokia N8 did make a rattling noise and it was because of its optical image stabilization inside that beautiful Carl Zeiss Zeiss lens.

So I would personally not mind it that much even if my Q10 made that sound.

In fact Nokia actually advertises its rattling sound.

Shake your q10.... are there moving parts inside?-images.jpg

So all in all, even though my Q10 does not rattle, I don't think it is a big deal even if it did rattle, until you see any real malfunctions that is.

If I take off the battery I hear something but if battery is there don't hear anything unusual.

This. I definitely hear movement when I take the battery out. Once the battery is in, I don't experience any rattling even when shaking it right now.

Sometimes I hear the NFC contact probe things move around when putting the phone down. Must be when the back cover flexs.

Take the cover off and shake it, move the NFC probes around think that will be the noise you hear.

It's the nfc contact pins... normal.. I've taken my phone apart... there's a lot of thin metallic sticky tape in the phone to secure parts...
