is it better than the classic?

Yeah, I've owned the Q10, Z30, Q5, Passport, and Classic. My least favorite has been the Classic. The Q10 is the best daily driver/dedicated phone. The Passport is the best communication device (email organization, etc).

I'd definitely say the Q10 is better than the Classic.

The Q10 is the only phone I have now. But I'd like to purchase another Passport when the price drops again.

Funny because I migrated to a Q10 as a replacement to my Nokia E71. Loved that little phone. Now, however, I'm very pleased with me Q10.

Got my first Blackberry phone this month and so far I'm loving it. The only issue I have is linking contacts from social media. I have so many duplicate contacts

You can merge the contacts. It's not simple and I normally do it manually, but apparently there's a feature you can do it automatic. enjoy. I'm in my third and was the best thing I did.

I'm currently using the Passport as my daily driver with my 1.5 year old Q10 as my backup. While the screen and specs of the Passport are superior, I do miss the small size and 4th row of the Q10 keyboard. I like being able to type without looking at my phone, so the Q10 will always be superior in that regard. The downfall is the small screen and lack of track pad/ touch keyboard, so editing documents is a chore. Gotta have both my phones to stay happy

I always thought the Q10 was the real smart one and Passport a great phablet.
Only thing that would make me ditch the Q10 would be a concertina keyboard on a Q10 form factor: that would give at least a 4" screen with 4:3 ratio + a physical keyboard that only appears when I need it.
I hope BlackBerry will keep on making smaller devices than the Classic (that is taller than the Passport), the kind of phone you forget you are carrying and that goes out of your pocket in a wink.

In this context, the Q10 is sexy like an exotic sports car, or a luxurious mansion. It certainly ain't ugly - and you could still rub your naked body against it if you wanted.

While I love my Z10s, z30, and Passport, I was looking at a Classic or a Leap but now maybe the Q10 might just be the device I am looking for.

The q10 is a good phone but please don't get it, the double typing issue will drive you crazy, I suggest you get a classic or a passport.
