    sorry if this is a re-post, quick search didn't find any post similar.
    i have a vzw q10, generally, everything is really fast. but going to "settings" always seems to lag quite a bit, it hits a white screen for a few sec before showing the settings menu.
    anyone else seeing this?

    Some screens lag here and there but nothing I can't live with. The only device that has never lagged at all is a windows device they are very quick but do reboot occasionally.

    The actual settings app/menu is not a native cascades app - its made in adobe air. That's why it lags... like android ports do.

    Don't ask me why BlackBerry did this - they just did. There are posts on here about it. Hope that helps.

    Yes as mentioned it was done in Air, in 10.2 it is done natively.
