Hi,

I wondered if anyone else was having this problem. When I tap a text control (that doesn't usually have focus) the selection circle doesn't always appear. Even when I tap it multiple times.

Things like DocsToGo are fine, I guess because the whole page has focus. But on something like BBM, when I've written a message and want to edit a part of it before sending, tapping on it doesn't always display the selection circle cursor.

Anyone else have this issue?

Hmmm... On my Z10 this never happened... I might raise a bug on the DEV site so BlackBerry can take a look.

Hey, I have exactly the same problem!! It's very annoying!! I am spending so much time trying to get this stupid cursor bullseye to pop up that it's making me wanting to go back to my brilliant 9900 that it's sitting on my desk... Almost every time that I'm writing a text and want to press to bring up the bullseye, the text selection pops up and not the bullseye!!! AHHHH!!!!!!!! This is frustrating!!
Another annoying thing... The copy and paste function has just too many actions or press's to perform! Why not press and hold to pop up a copy option menu straight away?? Why do we have to press and hold and then press again for the options to pop up and then press again in the copy icon to copy??? Too many actions!!! BB said this was build to keep us moving.... So far it was built to slow me down... I would challenge anyone with a Q10 to text, copy and paste faster than me with my 9900... Still, I like the Q10 for it's potential, so get it fixed Blackberry!! We waited a long time for this!!!

This is definitely an annoying issue for many people (including myself, drives me nutso since I do a lot of typing/editing), but others seem to have no issues with it at all.

Yes I agree. It's definately a problem and the new OS drop for the Q10 hasn't fixed this either. The only reason why I don't find it too frustrating is because of the general accuracy of the keyboard on the Q10 to begin with. However, it needs to be fixed!
