Just had this for the second time...

Made a call that went to answerphone, took the phone away from my ear to hang up, but the screen was black and wouldn't respond to any gestures on it -- so impossible to hang up. Tried switching it off, but it wouldn't -- so ended up having to do a battery call (presumably leaving a strange muffled silence on the answerphone of the person I was calling). It's always a bit hit and miss trying to use the screen whilst on a call, but this was particularly frustrating.

Have exactly the same problem and since 90% of my calls are to overseas it is expensive and inefficient if I cannot hang up. Is there a keyboard shortcut? Thanks in advance
