    can i retrieve old backup from blackberry protect which i used when i had my 9850

    recently installed 10.2, and didn't back up and trying to get my mechanic number but the only back is the archive one on my 9850 when i go to blackberry protect can i download it some how

    I don't believe you can download your old backup from your 9850. I mean you can ON THAT PHONE.
    But you can't download that on your Q if that is what you are asking!

    Actually, BB Protect in BB10 does allow a one-time restore from a Legacy Protect backup. See at the bottom of this screen cap.
    Retrieving old backup-img_00000484.png

    I would strongly suggest a backup of your current data before attempting this, though Just in case.
