    Anyone have any idea how to remove the Sprint screen/logo from the boot and shutdown screen on this phone? I have read it's tied to the SIM card but seeing as how there's no SIM card in the phone that obviously doesn't work.

    Possible it's just hardwired into the firmware or some thing considering this is a Sprint only model?

    Actually, it's hard flashed into the ROM and can only be changed if re-flashed.

    I'm guessing ROM is different from OS as I've installed the latest OS version.

    It is NOT in the ROM. It's in the SIM. Unlock your device and pop in a SIM from another carrier. You'll see.
