I have over 6000 calendar appointments that I need to delete from my calendar. i don't want to have to delete them one by one. Is there a way to do this in one shot. On my old phone (palm Centro ) there was an option to purge the calendar. is there something similar available on BB.

    Thank You,
    Isr

You could reinstall os and then only restore stuff you want. I can't remember if you can isolate calendar but I think so. You should also be able to backup everything. But calendar

I just had another thought. You maybe able to sideload only calendar app onto your phone. Theoretically over write with new one. Strip calendar out of os with sachesi. Not sure but I did do that with bbm once

I tried this but all it deletes is the Local Calendar items. I'm looking to delete the ones that are connected to BBLink account (synced with Outlook on my computer).

I have tried deleting them from outlook but then every time I sync they are synced back into outlook from my phone.

    Please help.

Oh, I'm sorry, isrgish, was hoping that would work for you. I only use the Local calendar, so I'm unsure about the procedure to mass delete appointments, etc on other calendars. Hopefully, someone else can help you out soon after your thread gets bumped back up to the top of the thread list. Much luck with this frustrating issue!

I am also having the same issue. It pulled all my Facebook friends' birthdays and put them as events on my calendar. There is no way to edit or delete these events. My alarm goes off at 9 a.m. to show that there is an event of a birthday for someone and I have to dismiss or snooze the notification. I cannot edit the alarm either. I deleted all the contacts under "facebook" on my phone, but the "events" are still there.

You have to turn off the event notifications for Facebook under -> "setup" -> "accounts" -> "Facebook".
