My wife asked me to post this to CB.

The good news is that she's delighted to have a keyboard back on her new Q10 (she used Android for about a year and ended up hating the experience).

The bad news is that she's been taking pictures of our two Persian cats, and when she attempts to correct the pics using "Red Eye Reduction" she gets an error message that says "No eyes found."

No eyes found? Our cats have eyes.

Wow. It's almost like cats aren't people or something.

Any recommendations?

Well to answer your question, we have 3 groups. We have cats, people and cat people. If they were people or cat people they would be recognised. So obviously they are just plain cats. Sorry to burst your bubble.

That's purrrrrfectly fine with me. I don't need cats all up in my red-eye detecting dogmain. It's restricted territory.
So, when you fe-line taking a pic of cats, just go fetch some other device.

That sounds like a pain. Looks like your cats will have to look like demons in all their pictures

Unless you try downloading a different photo editing app, like PicShop, which can be found on BlackBerry World.

BullGuard8, perhaps you can show us all how it's done. Start at the "apex " of the species and record some video for us of you treating some pet lions better. That way we can be inspired to better interact with our fine feline friends.

Now that I think about it, the photo sensors may just be taking the wrong approach. Since they can't detect eyes in cats how about felines. There is an 'I" in feline you know. So simple I can't believe we hadn't thought of that before.

Cats don't get red eyes........ as the name says: red eye effect.

Since I can see at night as well, I always need to use the yellow and blue eye effect remover. It's not just cats who are not being recognised.
