During my work day it isnt convenient or even appropriate to use my Q10 to send and receive texts.

I know how to send a text using my laptop via an a web page of my service provider.

But are there options to receive texts to my laptop (with pop-up notification)?

Most carriers can send text messages to email and have a special email address you can use.

You can also pay for sms-like services if you want it bad enough.
