I have been running a Mugen 4400mah extended battery for 6+ months with no major issues, and an excellent battery life.

Starting in the last month, my Q10 has been starting a random reset.

Having read these threads on Crackberry forums, I have added some paper, as well as adding some tape to hold the battery, when the paper alone was not enough.

Now, I am still finding that the phone is randomly restarting; and I am not even sure what to do.

I do not even swap the battery often as the battery life was excellent with this battery. I have maybe taken the battery out once a month to swap the sim card, which is very reasonable.

Now that the tape is not working, I am not even sure what to do.

Any ideas on what could be causing it? I am getting 2-3 random restarts everyday; and it is getting very annoying.

The random restarts are even worse when there is a vibration, such as when I am biking with the Q10.

that's not where I put the paper...in between the top of the battery....i folded a piece of paper, business card thick, and run it over the top of the battery and under the battery so that the battery does not budge...but since you have a different battery, i don't know how it will work....but the idea is to secure the battery in place so it does not budge even just a little.

You can also try to clean the contacts on the battery and the device. Run a pink pencil eraser over the battery to remove the black marks, and try on the device too. Seems to me to be a battery contact issue, but since your battery is unique you are going to have to use trial and error

How about trying an original battery ? Also that's not where to put the paper. Youre supposed to push the battery contacts closer to each other
