    please someone tell me how to switch the mode of phone to ONLY either vibrate (for texts and and calls) or silent (so that texts and calls still show, but no sound). what is the SIMPLE fast way to just switch between these to alert functions? not 'normal'. just either vibrate or silent

    If you swipe down from the top of the Hub, the Active Frames screen, or any of the apps screens, there will be a bunch of quick shortcuts. The left side of the Notifications one will toggle the profile between Normal and Vibrate or Normal and Silent.

    Set the Normal settings to be a clone of Vibrate, then use Quick Settings to toggle between "Normal" (redefined to be like Vibrate) and Silent?
