So often i am using an app when i receive a message and i want to continue using the app but the red light flashing is so distraction. Is there a way i can turn it off while im using the phone without having to read the message? I still need it for when im not playing with my phone. Thanks in advance for the help!

In your notifications settings you can set the light on/off by profile as you wish.

I use BeBuzz, so the default LED stuff might be different, but to get it to stop flashing I just peek into the hub for half a second and then go back into my app.

I don't think there's a way to disable it while using the device, yet keep it on while the screen is off. Definitely not natively, and I don't know of any app that provides that functionality either.
