Just wondering if device would work without any issues in vacuum environment.

I guess I shouldn't worry dropping the phone in micro gravity and I understand that compass and other sensors will not work. I'm just curios about vacuum.

I don't see why not, as long as there is no large jump in temperature

    What is your profession? Astronaut?

    I hope that will help.

Are you going to send a blackberry to space? That would be cool! I think that every tech device has a specific barometric presure limit.

If he was an astronaut he wouldn't be asking us this question. Yes, your device will work fine in a vacuum.

We're thinking of doing something similar with Q10, needs to be padded properly to survive trip back.

Hmmm - how about the battery? How low can the pressure get before there's a risk of it rupturing?
