    Hi.

Apart from Screen size and speakers (and battery life) what would I lose going from a Z30 to a Q10. Always liked the look of the Q10.

    Thanks.

    You'd be losing USB OTG.

You'd also have a slightly lower clocked (but same) CPU, and an older/slower GPU.

USB OTG (I think) and, depending on z30 model, wireless charging.

You'll lose some processing power, too. That comes in handy if you run Android apps.

Is it that noticeable? I currently have a passport and waiting to get my Q10 for work only/back up phone. I do occasionally run some android apps. However, the trade off of having a passport is that I am not able to fit in my scrub pocket.

Coming from a Passport? Yes, it would be noticeably different.

The Passport stands heads above all other BB10 devices.

The Q10 is still quite usable, but yes, you will notice.

That said, there are also some advantages in its compact size and user-replaceable battery.

Thx! Guess if I stay with bb10 naive apps, Q10 is still a very capable device for its compact size and removable battery.

The Android apps I use do run well enough for my liking on my Q10.

Using Q10 as I am replying this. Excellent little device ! The only downside is that the keyboard is not capactive, where passport has.

A reliable keyboard; if you're unlucky you may have to deal with it or play mechanic to replace it. But, if you're not getting rid of the Z30, you have most to gain; I lived happily for two years with the same combination switching the sim card back and forward.

It always stayed longer in the Z30, though.

    Saludos.

Thanks for all the replies. Ultimately I'd love a Passport. I'm not able to change or buy an extra phone at the moment. Oddly I had a dream last night I was using a Q type phone lol. I really love my Z30. But for just normal phone usage I'm sure a Q10 would work great. I tried it briefly at Christmas. Felt really good. When I'm out and about I mostly use my phone just as phone except for web browsing. At home I use more functionality and some apps. Well I guess for now I'm happy with my Z30, it's a great phone!

    Cheers!
