Q10 with latest official 10.2

Problem occurs when I try to login to public hotpots. No browser pop-up, so I'm unable to enter login password.

Sometimes, the Q10 reports that it connected, but with Limited connectivity.

Has happened in a couple of hotels and multiple airports.

What settings should I change or be looking out for?

Public hotspot/wifi it always doesn't work. There are many factors involve one that is most likely to be the problem is the number of people connected to it another is the frequency they use. Since you are able to connect at home wifi without problem then it is not your phone. I've been to several restaurants and cafe and had this problem but other times I can connect.

That's an issue BlackBerry devices have! I'm sitting in a bus and every other device is connecting correctly but the z30. it doesn't depend on how many users are connected, there are only 15 people here and not all of them are connected I think...

I ran into the same problem but found that by turning the data setting to "off", this allowed for the public wifi to connect. Might have something to do with having accept the terms of the public wifi on their logon page. I dunno... works on my Q10. Might try that...
