Hi, I am from Singapore and service provider is from Singtel. Data plan was 4G enable and phone network setting was set to 4G & 3G. However, phone was unable to detect 4G while another friend using iphone and Samsung were able to detect 4G. Is there any setting I have miss out on the Q10?

Have you checked if your Q10 model is compatible with your carriers 4G frequencies?

Did they give you a new sim card or use the one from old phone? They just cut mine down and I only had H. You need to have a 4g sim

Yes, confirm from service provided that Q10 is compatible with 4G

Yes using a old micro sim card, might be sim card issue. will be poping down to request a new sim card.

The SIM in my 9900 is a old SIM from times where LTE didn't even exist... do I have to change SIM to move to the Q10? can a just cut it to be micro SIM size?

You don't have to change. Cut down works but you will not get lte. Only H. You will get what you had before.

I highly suggest to get a new SIM from your carrier, the usually small fee should be worth it.
